Join Urban Girl Squad for its first career workshop! Whether you're a job seeker or are looking to take the next step in your career, this event is for you. We are partnering with recruiting firm Chaloner Associates and stylist Darcey Howard of LifeStyled to teach you how to present the best version of yourself on paper and in person.
The Chaloner career and resume experts will cover three main topics:
•How to use a recruiter to your advantage in your job search
•How to use social media in your job search (twitter, facebook, LinkedIn, online portfolio, etc)
•Best practices for interview follow-up
Professional stylist Darcey Howard will present proven tips on how to look your best in an interview, including:
•Dressing for your intended audience
•Adding personal style to your plain black suit
•Tips on stretching your interview wardrobe without stretching your wallet
